Lahti rated among the leading environmental cities in Europe

Notably, the Finnish city is one of the finalists of the EGCA competition.

The award goes to a European city (with over 100,000 people) for its commitment to environmental, social and economic sustainability.

Lahti is already an environmental-friendly city. For example, it’s spending approximately EUR 180 million on a bioenergy plant.

Moreover, the finalist is implementing personal carbon trading for citizens’ mobility.

Also, If Lahti wins it will be the first Finnish city to achieve this.

The Snow Castle is one of the main tourist attraction in Kemi. It’s opened from January to April every year. But they still manage to keep the tourists happy all year round with the “Snow Experience 365”. The snow building is a huge one! And cool activities for all sorts of visitors is certainly bountiful. Are you in Oulu? Have you visited the Market Square area? Enjoy this nice weather and walk around the Rotuaari.

First you can walk and visit the main shopping district. Different types of cuisines are within metres of the Square. Moreover nearby you have the library where you can find magazines and books on all sorts of subjects. And you can also rent the library studio to practice playing an instrument.

In sum, cultural events all year round are available – we are sure you’ll find one that suits your liking.

We have recently launched our new website! Some of the cities that we have projects have their own landing page. We’ve been trying to keep content to a minimum – only including information that actually has some value to the customer.

Obviously, we believe that a simple message requires simple text. Our message is that we provide furnished accommodation for project workers in Finland.
